Overview

We were appointed party wall surveyor for a building owner adding a new extension to the rear of their leasehold property. There were multiple adjoining owners because of the leasehold and freehold ownership arrangements of the neighbouring properties, plus the additional complication of a freehold shared by four people who could not agree on a party wall surveyor. The quality of a rebuilt wall was important to the adjoining owner for security reasons.
