EKA Team Update August 2014

Kimberley Rattray – Office Manager

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Kimberley Rattray from PA/Office Administrator to the position of EKA Office Manager, effective from 1^stSeptember 2014.

Following previous roles in the property sector Kim has now been a dedicated employee at EKA since January 2013. Kim will be responsible for ensuring that the office is in order whilst also taking full accountability for company credit control, quality assurance and compliance.  Kim will also work closely with the Accounts team to track project updates and invoicing in order to make sure our company meets our monthly credit control goals on an ongoing basis.

Kim will also oversee a dedicated Office Support Administrator who will shortly be joining the EKA team.

“My background is in the property consultancy sector, both in the UK and my native Australia, and I’ve hugely enjoyed my time at EKA since joining in January 2013. The firm’s focus on people and relationships makes the office a really rewarding place to work”

Matthew Ryan MRICS – Senior Chartered Building Surveyor

Matthew Ryan has joined EKA as a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor

Matthew graduated in Building Surveying from Nottingham Trent University in 2010 and achieved Chartered status in 2013. He began his career with a work placement at Martin Arnold Associates LLP and went on to practise at the Knight Frank Project and Building Consultancy before joining EKA.

Matthew is experienced in many fields from Defect Diagnosis and Dilapidation Assessment Schedules to Licences to Alter and CDM-C services.

“I enjoy liaising with a variety of clients on a day-to-day basis, so I really appreciate EKA’s people-centred approach to the business. I get great satisfaction from my work here and look forward to learning even more from the excellent team. When not at work, I enjoy playing football and have recently completed a round the world trip.”
