As the founder, owner and manager of Earl Kendrick, my vision for the company has evolved. Most importantly, it has become clear to me that it is not enough to hire and have the best people ‘in’ the business. Developing a first rate, sustainable business means sharing its ownership and responsibilities. That’s the only way to guarantee that my passion and enthusiasm are shared, and to ensure that wherever we work, and whoever takes on that work, every client will be guaranteed the same level of personal involvement and care as if I was taking it on myself.
As a result, I now share ownership – and leadership – of the business with some amazing people. And I am delighted to announce that our current Associate Director, Chris Stansell, is taking over as Managing Director for Earl Kendrick London.
This means that every one of our offices around the country is now run by someone bound into its long-term success. It also allows me to play a more strategic role as Group CEO, working with each of our offices and even creating some time to get my hands dirty on site!
Since joining Earl Kendrick in the summer of 2020, Chris rapidly established an excellent rapport with some of our key clients. As well as a Chartered Building Surveyor, he is a member of the Association for Project Management, and has vast experience working with clients in a range of sectors, including healthcare and education, and commercial and charitable organisations with national profiles.
Chris has the drive and ambition Earl Kendrick needs to continue to succeed and flourish. I know he is looking forward to continuing working with our fellow directors and the talented team we’ve built in London and beyond.
Since I founded Earl Kendrick in 2010, we have always been a company that put people first, and Chris very much shares that philosophy, so I am confident that he will be an exceptional leader for our dynamic London team.
