Overview

Earl Kendrick London is delighted to be instructed as contract administrator and principal designer for a programme of Crittall window replacements and exterior repairs and redecorations. This 1930’s block is set in an expansion plot in London’s prime northern suburbs, and deserves a full refurbishment to bring it back to its former glory.

The works will involve the removal and replacement of the original 80 year old Crittall windows and timber frames that are in a state of disrepair. We have successfully obtained planning approval to replace the windows with uPVC units which have been designed to maintain a sympathetic appearance to the character of the building and to significantly enhance U-Values (thermal transmittance) within the individual flats and communal areas. All external elements requiring repair, replacement or re-decorations such as rainwater downpipes, external staircase repairs and concrete repairs etc will be included as part of the works and carried out concurrently with the window replacements.
