This is a high profile, multi-million pound contract administration instruction on prominent riverside development within a conservation area. We have liaised closely with the hard-working managing agent and dedicated board of directors to overcome the last couple of years of prep work, including feasibility studies and several planning applications. All demised windows are to be replaced – and they’re all reversible to allow residents to clean their own glazing.
The existing timber curtain walling is being replaced too, with aluminium framed units with fire stopping between floors. Works will include sand-blasting all existing metalwork to balconies and coating with a marine grade paint system with an extended warranty.
